The following image is the final camera match bike scene. I have modelled the bmx bike then placed it over an image. I then added lights and shadows to make it look as if it is part of the image.
The following images are of my business card. The front of the card has my details and the back has my logo. The logo is also a aura, so is recognised by the Aurasma augmented reality application. By using this application my CV comes ups on screen when the device is pointed at my logo.
The following images show render test of the BMX in a scene. I’ve tried to match the lighting and camera angle from the image to the 3D scene within 3dsmax. I also used a HDRI light set up to match the lighting. By looking through the images you can see the changes that has been made in each one to et a more realistic look. To achieve the last image, the process of adjusting the light was made to match the lightness of the scene , as well as this subtle bleeding shadows were added to make it fit. The scene image itself was edited to make the black more black so it matches the blacks on the bike. After that the reflectivity and glossiness of the materials were adjusted.
The Feedback i got in reagrds to these renders was to match the contrast and brightness of the wall to the levels of the bike.
The rendered images are of a bike rack with a bike parked in it. The scene has been modelled and textured inside 3dsmax. I used bitmaps to texture the wall and the floor and added bump maps. Lighting was added to light the scene and give the scene a realistic look. The renders show the progress made and are of low quality.
By looking at the renders, The feedback i got was to adjust the lighting for better shadows and make the bikes look less clean. Also to adjust the lighting so the scene looks dirty as if its during sunset. Also to add more lights coming from different angles and different colour.
The following renders are of a bmx bike. The Renders show the wireframe of the model, wireframe when turbo smooth and the model itself with textures. I decided to model a bike as i thought a modelling showreel would be better for me as i have modelled different things like objects, buildings and products by the end of the year. This way i would be able to show off different modelling skills i have.
The following image shows the street scene in more of a mysterious and sinister feel due to the camera angle and lighting. the smoke in this image is coming from inside the house as the door is open.
The image below is of the street simulation scene. The render looks too dark and detail is hard to see because of it. In terms of looking realistic, it looks too cg but looks good in terms of a animation scene.
This video is of the smoke test.
